Warranty
A warranty that backs it up
Our window films carry a lifetime warranty for residential applications and a 10-year warranty for commercial applications — with simplified claims handled by our team.
We stand behind the quality of our products and workmanship. Here’s what our warranty coverage looks like, how to look after your window film and coverings, and how to make a claim if you ever need to.
Residential window film
Window film installed in homes and condos is covered by a lifetime warranty.
Commercial window film
Window film installed in offices, retail and other commercial properties is covered for 10 years.
Warranty coverage may vary depending on the specific product selected. Our team provides complete warranty details in writing before your project begins.
What the film warranty is designed to cover
Window film warranties protect against defects in the film itself, such as:
- Peeling, cracking or crazing of the film
- Delamination or adhesive failure
- Bubbling that appears after the film has fully cured
- Discolouration of the film
What isn’t covered
- Scratches, nicks, impact damage or vandalism
- Damage caused by abrasive pads, razor blades or ammonia-based cleaners
- Normal curing effects in the first weeks after installation, such as light haze or small water pockets
- Glass breakage or window seal failure from causes unrelated to the film
Blinds & shades
Our zebra blinds and roller shades are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties, which vary by product, fabric and motor system. We’ll give you the details for your specific products with your quote, and we’ll help you with any claim.

Caring for your window film
- Wait about 30 days before cleaning new film so it can fully cure (longer in cold weather).
- Clean with a soft cloth, sponge or squeegee and a mild, ammonia-free glass cleaner or soapy water.
- Never use abrasive pads, scrapers or razor blades on the filmed side of the glass.
- Avoid sticking tape, decals or suction cups to the film.
Caring for your blinds & shades
- Dust regularly with a soft cloth or a vacuum’s soft-brush attachment.
- Spot-clean gently with mild soap and water where the fabric allows — test a hidden area first.
- Keep battery-powered motors charged so motorized shades run smoothly.
